Hi I’m Mari. A Mexican-American artist creating original work through webcomics and other projects!

Besides drawing I love watching horror movies, playing cozy farming games, figure collecting, and anything magical girl related! Some of my favorite series include: Tokyo Mew Mew, Shugo Chara, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Madoka Magica just to name a few.

I created this site as a way to stay connected with everyone as they migrate to different social media sites (and to practice my coding skills). If you want to stay updated on all my projects and art this is definitely the place.

HOW DID YOU LEARN TO DRAW?

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I’m mostly self-taught, but I recommend studying the fundamentals like anatomy, color theory, perspective, etc., drawing out of your comfort zone, and using references when possible. Analyzing your favorite artists’ work and doing art studies also helps too. There’s so many tutorials/resources compared to when I started so it’s easier than ever to start improving.

Rarely as I have a day job. I usually announce on my socials when I open them, but I also have a commissions page you can check out.
